traveler...

standing on the roadside

walking dont know where

taking tiny baby steps

cant see past the glare

but then i hear a car pass

and another and one more

and then i hear one stop

and open up its door

and there i stand

in confusion

why did you stop here

dont you see my baggage

dont you even care

i feel the warmth and welcome

the urge to get inside

but who is this im going with

on this adventurous ride

tightrope

i fell through my safety net

there was a big tear

i broke just  a bit

it doesnt seem fair

and i bled out emotions

all over the floor

and i keep slipping up on them

as i head for the door

but ill climb back up 

with a new net in place

just a bit gun shy

scared to fall on my face

and ill walk oh so carefully

as i try to heal

and pray that this new net

is as strong as it feels

can anyone tell me the way to get

to where ever it is im going

or show me something that seems to let

my insides from all showing
